I'm a fan (and you should be too) because Miss Sparks music is a breathe of fresh air. She sings about things that we all are going through without making the lyrics overly adult and full of things that most of us are not dealing with in our daily lives. If you want to hear what I am talking about find a copy of the song "Shy Boy" where she sings about wanting a shy boy instead of the high commercialized "Bad Boy" songs that we are usually stuck listening to by our daily pop stars. While a lot of her songs are about love and she says she doesn't know a lot about that yet cause she hasn't been through that she does a great job on the songs where she is singing about love. This girl is more mature then a lot of pop stars out there and that is why I am a fan of hers. She has focus and that is lacking in our current music scene. She has a smile that shows she IS worthy of the American Idol title. I hope she has a great career because she is what I want the music world to be.
