It started because of her "pipes" as I refer to her respiratory effort in creating a spectacular non-waivering in-tune belt of voice. Her age was most impressive initially (considering her obvious talent), and then it shifted to the image she portrayed. She was wholesome and mild yet confident, kind, and someone I hoped my daughter could continue to respect IF she won and recorded. I predicted her [when it went to 24] as the champ, I was blown away. Don't get me wrong I also liked the others (this was a difficult season---so much talent). But she had something different, and I liked her better each time I heard her interview, sing, interact with contestants etc. She is truly a class act. Now (go figure) I am a fan because I enjoy nearly every song on her CD. Not since Kelly Clarkson or Avril have I liked a CD start to finish. In fact I bought it to surprise my daughter (she is 11) and I grab it more than she does. Way to go, keep up the good work. I am anxiously awaiting to hear of tour dates, we did not get Hannah Montana tix and I hope to get my hands on some affordable tickets for Jordin's show. I could not afford $500 per ticket for Hannah Montana on ebay unfortunately.
Taylor's momma here, mom-to-mom........
We have same figures as Jordin at our house, and noticed she is great at choosing clothing that flatters her. Can you tell me what are her favorite brands/clothing lines which she feels flatter her body? Certainly now she will be able to buy anything without money being a huge concern, but for normal curvey teens, I was wondering if you had suggestions. It is not always easy to find them; Jordin does a great job at making everything work.
