can someone please tell me did Jordin win the award she was nominated for by the NAACP? I watched the show and her version of Respect was awesome...but I never heard them mention that award and who won it.
In my opinon Jordin is amazing I am not a teenager not even a young adult..I am a mom of six grown children and six grand-babies..I love music of all types...and every now and again an artist just captures my heart...the last one to do so was LeAnn Rimes..and I have no doubt in my mind that Jordin will be just as popular in her own right...I have also heard Jordin compared to a young Mariah Carey...and although Jordins voice has many of the same qualities in range and pitch as Mariah's..she shines in her own very special way and I believe that Miss Jordin Sparks will join the ranks of the super Divia's...I wish her every sucess with her tour with Alicia...

You are my idol! I love your voice! I am a huge fan of yours! Last year .. before you won american idol, my class had to do a project on a famous person. Even before you one, when you were still there in the top 3, i chose you. You weren't even very famous yet, but you were in my mind. I watched American Idol and right from the start you were my favourite. I was so happy when you won!!! I heard about the American Idol Tour and was so thrilled when I saw that the Top 10 were making a Canadian stop...my family went to see the concert and you were great. When I saw that you and Alicia were also making a Canadian stop I was all over it!!! I am waiting to find out when tickets go on sale for the Air Canada Center. I keep checking the site every day:) We had an amazing teacher leave right before Christmas and my band actually performed Tattoo for him. I sang it and we brought some tears to his eyes... I think your C.D. is great and I had it reserved before it was even released.
