I posted this at another board, but I feel everyone needs to be involved.

"Alright...We all know "No Air" has done amazing so far, but with Jordin appearing on American Idol next week, we have a great oppurtinity to make it an even BIGGER success, so I suggest we all rally together and give the song a big push starting MONDAY, APRIL 7TH, the week Billboard begins gathering the chart data for the week Jordin will be performing on AI. Since she'll be performing so late in the week, I suggest we keep going into the following week as well, starting MONDAY, APRIL 14TH.
So here's what we all can do...

#1. DOWNLOAD "NO AIR" AGAIN ON APRIL 11TH!

This is the most important part! Immediately following Jordin and Chris' performance on Idol, she should get a sizable sales spike. If we all join in, we could really give the song a boost. This will be really vital to her getting the highest position possible with big artists like Mariah Carey and Madonna currently topping the sales charts. If you're going to buy multiple copies, it would probably be good to also buy one after MONDAY, APRIL 14TH because the Idol effect should still be strong by then, and she may have an even better shot at #1 by then.

#2. REQUEST NO AIR AT ALL OF YOUR LOCAL RADIO STATIONS!

Airplay is the biggest factor in Billboard's chart formula. Requesting her songs, especially if you live in a large metro area (since Billboard uses "Audience Impressions" as their way of deciding which song is being heard the most) is really going to be huge! Her song is already exploding on the radio, but if we all give it some extra requests, it sure can't hurt, right?

#3. STREAM HER SONG AT AOL MUSIC/YAHOO MUSIC!

Instead of listening to "No Air" on whatever media player you might use or YouTube, stream the song/video at these sites because they actually count towards Hot 100 position. Think about it, the more you watch her video or stream her song at those two sites, the more you help out Jordin! If we all watched the video a bunch of times a day, we could make a difference. I even like to put the video on mute and stream it in another window all day and just refresh once the video ends, so it counts towards her streaming totals.

#4. LET ALL OF YOUR FRIENDS/SPARKPLUGS/SPARKLERS/ETC. KNOW!

Last and definitely not least, it's important that we let all of our friends and Jordin fans know about our rally to get Jordin to #1! The more people we get to join in, the bigger push we can make. This means putting up blogs on MySpace, putting out bulletins as the date nears, and letting your friends know. If you have a Jordin site, put a banner up and make sure all of your visitors know about it. If you know someone with a Jordin fansite, ask them if they'd like to support us. We need to make this BIG.
