That's pretty cool. My brother had ADD but he wasn't diagnosed until he was about 14 (he's 22 now). My parents didn't tell him at first because they didn't want him to use it as a crutch (and he would have). You're brother's really smart and so is your sister seeing as though she taught him. How odl is she now?

lol. My little brother(as annoying as he can be... lol) is VERY smart for and eight year old. My little sister played school with him when he was very little. She has ADD, and It was during the time she was being diagnosed, that she really started playing school with him. When she didn't understand the new things she was learning in school, she came home, and taught my little brother things that she knew VERY WELL. So, my sister's games of "school" paid off for my brother. He knew all the coins(money coins) and how much they were worth, by the time he was almost 4. And, he can multiply. He is just now learning cursive in school, but he has very neat handwriting! My handwriting is pretty good, and my brother can write neater than me when he wants to! lol I had a very hard time in math. I would work SO HARD to get a "B" in that class! I wouldn't get in trouble or anything if I didn't get a "B". But, 7th grade math(last year) was VERY hard for me. I got really sick, and missed tons of school. I spent a LOT of time at the doctors this summer Sad (Im getting better now!) but, I got "C's" in that class b/c I had a hard time catching up. It didn't make it any easier being terrible at math though!! lol

LOL! Well, I can understand with things like that. I remember when I was 15 and my little godsis (who was practically LIVING with us), was in the 1st grade. She wanted to be the only one in her class who knew how to multiply and write her name in cursive. I thought that trying to explain how subtracting was different from adding was tough... YEAH RIGHT! LOL!!

That was an awesome explanation, Trelisa! lol You explained it very well! I wish I could explain things that well! lol, when Im trying to explain something to my little sister, like math homework, I get SO FRUSTERATED trying to explain it in a way she would understand. Maybe you should help me with explaining things! LOL!

I really wanted One Step At A Time to be her next single, so obviously I'm happy.

"You wanna show the world, but no one knows your name yet
Wonder when and where and how you're gonna make it
You know you can if you get the chance
In your face as the door keeps slamming
Now you're feeling more and more frustrated
And you're getting all kinds of impatient waiting
We live and we learn to take one step at a time
There's no need to rush
It's like learning to fly or falling in love
It's gonna happen and it's supposed to happen
that we find the reasons why
One step at a time"

LOL!!

That's one hell of an explanation, lol that all sums it up, so i guess all that's left to say is

I second what TreLisa wrote Sticking out tongue

If you want to know what Jordin actually says the song is about, though, you should go to YouTube. She does this thing where she tells what each song is about. It may be in the VIDEO section on here, but I'm not sure.

It's basically sayng, like you said, to just take it all one step at a time. The way she says "Hurry up and wait, so close yet so far away. You believe and you doubt, you're confused and got it all figured out."... (and yes, I just skipped all over the song. LOL!) It's like you want to hurry up, but you have to wait. You believe that it'll happen, but because it's not happening on your time, you doubt yourself. One second you feel like you have it all figured out and it'll work out that same way, but when one thing gets thrown off, you're right back at being confused. But, the song is saying, slow down and stop trying to rush everything. In due time, it'll be your turn. It's gonna happen when it's SUPPOSED to happen and you may not understand why that is now, but later you will.
*****That's just my interpretation of what the song is saying. "One Step At A Time" is basically my theme song for life. It's me to the very core. I planned all of my dreams out, like this is how it's going to happen, but something always goes wrong. Something always slows me down. Then I start wondering when am I going to get my chance. I want to show the world but no one knows my name yet. I don't know when, where, or how I'm going to make it. I know I can if I could only get a CHANCE, however, the door keeps slamming in my face. Then I become impatient and frustrated from waiting, but as I live... I learn. You have to take it one step at a time.

I hope this didn't confuse you any more. LOL!
