What a crazy year so far!

Man, Ms. Jordin Sparks has been busy! From NYE in Madison Square Garden, filming the NO AIR video with Chris Brown, Jordin's 1st Charity Event and online challenge (which raised over 20k!), to Singing at the Super Bowl (Go Giants!), criss-crossing the country to promote her album/Tattoo/NoAir and going to the Bahamas, Leno, Dr. Phil, Kimmel, MTV/TRL, BET/106th & Park, singing at the NBA All-Star game, Grammy parties, singing with Natalie Cole at the Producers Guild Awards, winning the "NAACP Outstanding New Artist Award" and singing to Aretha Franklin, and going to AFRICA AT THE PRESIDENT'S REQUEST (omgoodness)....my head is spinning so fast it might fly off at any moment! Watch out!
I've seen her for only a few days this year which I'm not crazy about...but she is IN her element and having the time of her life!
What's up on the calendar after that?? Internationl promo, her tour with Alicia Keys (who I met at the Super Bowl and is very gracious and sweet) and Ne-Yo (who has a great sense of humor and is very talented), and heading to camp sometime this summer for a much needed break to "detox from the world" and be a normal kid for awhile. After that, I think that she may do a couple things with her favorite boy band and good friends...The Jonas Brothers, maybe some international appearances, or maybe a fair tour. Who knows, but her schedule will be filled with exciting things I'm sure.
Please keep "my baby" in your prayers as she marches to the tune of her own drum here and all over the world.
As far as Peej goes. He finished his Freshman football season as the leading rusher with over 1300 yards. Check out his highlight video at www.youtube.com/jordinsparks. It's in her favorites! His basketball team had an amazing season and he is trying track out for the first time to help keep him in shape for Football and Basketball. Actually, he didn't have a choice, I said, "it's Spring sport time...you have to do a sport, what's it going to be?" I think that he really likes it though. He's got that competitive spirit so now that he's doing it, he wants to do his absolute best. His 16th birthday is coming up and drivers license time. He has to have a A average to get a car so he's working hard on that! So far, so good...we'll see! He is amazing and I'm so proud that he's MY son!
Other news on the homefront...
Wendy, one of my best friends and a person who has been my administrative assistant for almost 6 years (her desk is across from mine!) just found out that she has Stage 4 Cancer. The last couple weeks have been very trying and emotional. I am determined though to help her however I can. I honestly should get college credit for all the cancer research that I've done 
She has a lot of faith and is in really good spirits. She is a wonderful woman. She is married with two sons. Say a prayer for her too if you get a moment! Jordin will be doing something soon to bring awareness to her and people with cancer in general soon...keep an eye out for it! Check out www.myspace.com/crazyforclarks and show Wendy some love!
I've been rounding up the Jordin Sparks fansites and organizing the street teams. It's in it's beginning stages, but I'm excited about it. I'm working with about 40 right now. If you have a Jordin Sparks website or fansite, make sure to go to www.myspace.com/jodibsparks and register!

I have enjoyed the truly gifted song and personality of Jordin since the first time I saw her on American Idol. I have 3 teenagers myself and know how hard it is to live in this world and not of this world. The trials and temptations that face the youth of today is tremendous. I am so thankful that there are at least a few artists that hold on to their Faith and offer a positive alternative for their fans to enjoy. Many of Jordin's fans are praying that she will record a Contemporary Christian album. Jordin, never let the world change who you are. You can change the world with your songs. May the Lord keep your feet from stumbling and strengthen you in times of trials. May God bless you and your family with peace, joy and happiness.

hehe. I think raising awareness about cancer is a very inspiring thing to do. People think it is sad but just brush it off, and think that they won't have it. I know what it feels like to be the bug under the microscope (I didn't have cancer thank ya baby jesus! lol) but I hope wendy recovers for her family. (go jordin)

I went to your charity event at Sky in Phoenix but I never got to meet you because you were so busy. I definately know how that feels.. maybe i dont have as much as she has to handle.. but i do work in the medical field.. and well we do get pretty busy ourselves!! Wow! She has been busy! I've seen her on TV a few times(Dr.Phil, Super Bowl.. etc.) and that's very exciting that she's going on tour! I Went to the Idols on tour concert and It was awesome. Everyone did a great job. I loved the No Air Video, and her cd is awesome. Way to go Jordin!!!
