Before the Show
Well, we had a great time at this show. Before the show, Drew and I handed out free orange glow bracelets and explained it was for Wendy and for melanoma awareness.
Once we got to our seats, people came to us and asked for bracelets. We also passed out the last few orange blinky necklaces we had.
This very nice woman climbed all the way up the stairs to our seats. She was nearly out of breath when she got to us. She smiled warmly and asked if there was a reason we were wearing orange.
I started to explain about Wendy when I recognized her! I said "You're her Nana!"
She smiled and said "Yes." She said that Jordin wasn't having a meet & greet, but if that changed she would come and get us. With that she turned and descended the stairs.
We were so stunned we didn't ask for a picture or offer her a bracelet or anything! I still can't believe she climbed all those stairs to thank us for supporting Jordin & Wendy! That just goes to show you how amazing this entire family is! ♥
Show Time!
It was the first time we'd seen Jordin live since the AI6 tour.
The vocals were incredible, clear, powerful and full of soul and Jordin's playful teenage personality.
Jordin really has stepped up her performance skills. The stage was very tiny. Jordin kept the crowd engaged for her entire set stopping at one point to kick off her stylish shoes.
Jordin wore her hair long and straight (no orange streaks). She wore a cute sleevless leopard print empire top over black footless tights over black strappy stiletto heels.
She was so natural and down to earth. And though she had to keep maneuvering around equipment and her band, she covered the entire stage, several times, waving to the crowd that hung on her every word. She sat on the stage at one point as she treated us with a very sweet rendition of "Permant Monday".
She got serious when she sang "Freeze", telling the audience about losing Wendy at such a young age to melanoma, and reminding us to treasure life and loved ones as we freeze every special moment. We went crazy waving our orange glow bracelets and message fans and blinky orange necklaces. We'd handed out @ 100 bracelets which could be seen sprinkled around the audience (mostly in our section).
Set list:
1 "One Step at a Time"
2 "Tattoo"
3 "Permanent Monday"
4 "Freeze"
5 "Now You Tell Me"
6 "No Air"
6/5/2008
UPDATE:
We handed out nearly 100 glow bracelets before the show. It was sooo nice seeing the bracelets in the dark. Wendy was with us that night.

Edited:
We will still provide bracelets so that we will all remember Wendy and support Jordin & Wendy's family.

Please leave your well wishes on Wendy's MySpace as her family still checks it. http://www.myspace.com/crazyforclarks
My friend Drew (Sanjorina) & I attended the show on 4/21 in Philadelphia. Unfortunately, Jordin was sick.
Alicia must've been sick too, because she didn't sing the last song, and she canceled the next couple of shows.
We will be at the box office at Trump Taj Mahal passing out orange glow bracelets.
This way you will glow orange in the dark and Jordin can see you and we'll be able to see each other too!
Here's a pic so that you can find us!
See you in AC on 5/31!
