I hate Miley Cyrus & Jonas Brothers. They are both lame excuses for "singers". Neither of them should have won those Awards that Jordin SHOULD have won. Jordin is a true singer and winning this TCA PROOVES it. She is one of the few American Idol winners to get one of these. LOVE YA JORDIN !!!!!!!!

I highly doubt you will ever see this comment but I saw you in concert in Toronto with my 11 year old daughter & she lo9ved you. When watching the MTV awards with my daughter you commented on the host comments re promise rings - Congrats to you for standing up for what you believe in.

I think that waiting for marriage to be that close with someone is wonderful & should be promoted more in our society - not all of us moms want Jamie Lynn for a daughter - hats off to you keep it up.

Just want to thank you for saying something about the comments made about purity rings and sex. It seems that there is a twisted view on the subject in our pop culture. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion on the matter, but it is simply disrespectful to make a joke about it. I frankly found the majority of the show tasteless and uncalled for. Thank you for breathing a little bit of integrity and class back into the music world. And congrats on the award. Highly deserved.

Voicing your position on abstinence is admirable considering it is not a popular view among your peers, however the ugly manner in which you did it was not.

Although I too believe in abstinence until marriage and hold many of your same values and morals I found your comments in such a public forum to be insensitive and only proved you to be as ridiculous as you might have felt R Brand to be.

In reading several of your fan sites it has become painfully obvious that other young women have taken your lead and found name calling and judging when its not their place to judge acceptable.

Next time try relaying your message in posititive manner, refrain from name calling, and understand the impact you have on your fans.

How dare you voice your opinion like that on television. You have no right to judge anyone on their views. Calling all teenagers that have had premarital sex "sluts" is rude and disrespectful to your fans who you have now lost. It is generalizing that all teenagers that have had sex are bad people and slutty. You have not lived their situation nor their lives so you have no right to say that. Not everyone shares the same view on abstinence. I understand that you were only defending the Jonas Brothers but you could have chosen your words better.

I am not a fan of the Jonas Brothers but I was shocked and angered to see the host bash them over and over again for their own personal choice that they have never pushed upon anyone else or really even discussed in public. I am sad to see that MTV would allow this to happen when they do so much to promote AIDS relief and education and abstinance is such a huge part of that. Bad move on part of MTV! I hope they learned a lesson.

You are beautiful and wonderful and such a rare find in today's pop culture. No one wants to stand up and speak out as it is much easier to blend with the crowd. Thank you for not going with the flow and for speaking your mind and for not selling out!

Don't pay any attention to the total haters that have left nasty messages on here for you. They are not true fans! You didnt call anyone a Slut and if they were offended than they have their own personal guilt and issues to deal with. When they say you have lost them as fans...don't feel bad. If they no longer like you because you stand up for your beliefs and have intregrity....than let them become fans of Britney instead. She could do well to get herself a promise ring!
